THE IMAGE ON THE LEFT HAS NOT BEEN DIGITALLY CLEANED OF THE
FILTER NOISE THAT COVERS MOST IMAGES BY NASA/JPL. THE
IMAGE ON THE RIGHT HAS BEEN CLEANED, EXPOSING A
NON CORROSIVE  METAL  REMAINS OF WHAT MAY HAVE 
BEEN MOLTEN METAL SPLATTER

THE METAL IN THESE IMAGES IS SIMILAR TO SECONDARY
 REFINED METAL
 

PYROCLASTIC PLASMA BLAST AT 40,000F COULD TURN A
SUFFOCATED METALLIC OBJECTS INTO 
MOLTEN SPLATTER IN SECONDS

FRAGMENTS ARE JAGGED AND THIN WITH PITTING, HOLES,
AND ARE SIMILAR TO SLAG FROM A MOLTEN SOURCE 

METAL PLATING THAT HAS WEATHERED MAY SHARE
THE CHARACTERISTICS  SHOWN IN THESE IMAGES AS WELL,
HOWEVER THE METAL IS CONSISTENT WITH MOLTEN 
METAL SPLATTER 
THE ROVERS WHEEL  IN THE IMAGE SHOWING THE SCALE OF THE
METAL  WEATHERED SPLATTER
